Vintage Desk Lamp: You've got a friend in me

Not only does it look like something from the start of a Pixar Movie – It’s also a functional light source.

But wait. Why isn't it jumping around in a comical fashion and leading me into a hilarious movie about toys having adventures…. Unfortunately magical powers aren't included. Well somebody could have told me.

Now the good folks at Freedom Furniture would lead you to believe that you should pay $139 for this piece of design. And you might think that is a bargain for something both functional and magical. But would you pay it if I told you that it won’t even acknowledge that you have entered the room. Maybe think again.

Sure it works well as a light, and it will swivel and pivot on two different axis’, but something is just, missing about this product.

Pros:

-          Actually works very well as a light

-          Comes in multiple colours

-          Very Sturdy

-          Comes already assembled for you

Cons:

-          No magical powers

-          Didn't come with Buzz and Woody in the box (sold separately, and at other stores)

-          Slightly expensive

-          Seriously. No Magical Powers!
